Lauryn Hill Sentenced on Tax Evasion Charges! 3 Months Jail Time! Lauryn Hill was in court yesterday and was sentenced to three months in jail due to tax evasion from the years of 2004-2009. Hill paid up all the money owed prior to sentencing so according to her lawyer she doesn’t owe anymore money to the government.
